      Hi,

Despite efforts to get more participation many of our regional cideries are already in their local bars and restaurants and due to the size of the event and the size of many of the establishments draught systems not a lot of additional locations were able to participate. We’re hoping that as Cider Week catches on so will the participation. You can check the OCCA member page for links to producer websites, many of whom list their establishments. You will also see a great number of Ontario Craft Ciders in the LCBO this month!

      Good hunting!

      Cheers

    Hi,

I dropped by The Only Cafe on the weekend, to buy tickets for their event, and the staff had fliers for Cider Week, but no idea how I could get tickets.

Do you have any contact info for that event?

    Thanks,

    Stuart

    Hi guys,

The barVolo tickets are now on sale. This is the only event that requires tickets. For the rest, you might want to arrive early to guarantee yourself a spot, as they are limited. As for a provincial wide Cider Week…we would absolutely love this! We started local as this is our first year doing Cider Week. We hope that the success of the event will lead to a provincial spread in the upcoming years.

Hope to see you all there!

Hi – a big congrats on Cider Week! I am a HUGE fan of Ontario-based cider, however, like Clue, I’m a bit disappointed that it is Toronto-centric. Would have gladly loaded the van with other people and headed to Small Town Ontario for a weekend to do this, but won’t head to T.O. Now having been Debbie Downer, I would add that I’d be very pleased to become a ‘Branch Organizer’ and tto alk to you about hosting an event in rural Ottawa in the near future.

      All the best,

      Andrea Cordonier

        Andrea,

Thank you for your interest in Ontario cider! Because this is our first year doing Cider Week, we decided to do it somewhat local. We hope that by the success of this event this year, we will be able to branch out next year. Thank you for touching base and showing your interest. I will add your contact information to our files for future reference.

        Keep in touch!

Hi, you say the tickets are on sale but you still don’t indicate where. Where can we get tickets?

I totally understand starting in one location local to the organizers for their first year of this – why up the risk unnecessarily when you’re not sure how the event will go? That’s a bad move, financially. Be excited that it is happening, and that it’ll likely expand if the support is there for a small first year!
